ABOUT ME: I'm a sweet big boy weighing about 86 lbs! I came to SPCA of Texas under some sad circumstances, but the past is the past and I don't let it bring me down. I love people and soak up all the attention I can get.

Medical: I currently have a red irritated spot in my groin area. The medical team place and e-collar on me however, each morning when they come in, its off. Now they want me to go to foster to if I am removing it or if its falling off at night. I am currently on oral antibiotics and my foster must be comfortable with administering them to me.

SKILLS: I'm leash trained and have been told I have the best sit! I even know how to shake!

PERSONALITY: Sweet, but serious. I'm a leaner and I love to lean my whole body against you for love, but I also have a calm demeanor- I'm a pensive dude! Hope you like lapdogs, because I loooooove to cuddle.

DREAM HOME: I'd like a loving family who will help me lose some weight! Let's be fitness buddies together. I am deaf, so my family will need to use hand gestures instead of vocal cues to train me. I'm also looking for a home with a securely fenced yard.

DOGS: No other pups in the home for me, please.

KIDS: I'm looking for a 15+ household.

I'M AN ARTIST: I've painted a picture for my future adopter. Look at my third picture to see what I painted!

SPECIAL NOTE: I'm available for a test drive through a trial adoption! During the trial, I would be a foster and the SPCA would provide everything I need!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
