ABOUT ME: Hi I'm Dalton! I was rescued from a cruelty case and brought to the SPCA. At first, I was scared of everyone but I'm learning that people aren't always bad and sometimes they have goodies with them! It may take me some time to get used to my new home but I'm up to the task! I can get overwhelmed at times and need some space to cool down but time and patience will help me learn how to be a house cat.

HOBBIES: My foster parent says I enjoy chatting and spending time with her while she is cooking. You can call me Chef Dalton!

KIDS: Kids can be a lot for me so I don't think kids under 12 are my ideal.

CATS: I would love a new friend that can show me how to be confident! Another cat is actually required.

DOGS: If they are polite and like to watch me play with my toys like my foster sister Dootsie the dog, sure.

FUN FACTS: Currently, my foster is teaching me French! Bonjour and meow!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
