About Me: My name is Dwight, and like my hoo-man doppleganger, I am also a paper salesman! I have since retired though, and my friends at the SPCA are helping me find my fur-ever home now. Fact: I am the best doggy-pal you could ask for. Do you think so too? I'd love to set-up a meeting with you and see if we'd make a great team - bring the whole family to meet me! (Treats highly encouraged).

Dogs: Nah, they don't understand my love for bears, beets, and battlestar galactica. (Fans of The Office will know what I'm talking about.)

Kids: No thanks - I prefer to have my new family to have years of experience in adulting and like drinking coffee in the mornings, like the good ole' days in the office.

Home: I'm looking for a home with a wooden fenced yard, please and thank you.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
