Name: Jasmine
ID: 46717029
Breed: Mixed Breed, Large (over 44 lbs fully grown) / Mix
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: 9 years 3 months
Size: Large
Location: Awaiting Foster
About Me: Greetings! My name is Jasmine and I'm a sweet girl that tends to be a little nervous when first meeting new people but once I warm up to you, we are good to go! Just need a little bit of patience and love while I get adjusted to my new surroundings.

Foster Reason: I am heartworm positive and mid-treatment.

Foster Length: Beginning of July 2021 or until I find my forever home

Dream Home: I would love a quiet place with lots of comfy places to lay in. A yard with a yard that doesn't have many distractions would be nice but a low-traffic apartment will work as well! My foster parent should also be comfortable giving me oral medications on a daily basis.

Dogs: I'd love a calm companion since I will be on an exercise restriction after my heartworm treatment. Bring them in to meet me!

SPECIAL NOTE: While I am not yet available for adoption, I am eligible for foster-to-adopt. While a foster, the SPCA provides everything I need!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
