Pumba
Name: Pumba
ID: 46831702
Breed: Terrier, Pit Bull / Mix
Gender: Neutered Male
Age: 6 years 2 months
Size: Large
Location: Awaiting Foster
About Me: Hi! My name is Pumba and I am the sweetest boy you will ever meet. I want to lay around all day and cuddle if you'll let me. Come by to meet me, I promise you'll want to take me home! While a foster, the SPCA provides everything I need!

Foster Reason: I have demodex mites (not contagious), severe skin dermatitis which is suspected to be secondary to the demodex, and also a mass on my left ear. I also have an ear infection right now and I am awaiting my recheck.

Foster Length: TBD - My vets are currently working on getting me an appointment with the dermatologist to get a long treatment plan. I think it is safe to say at least 2-3 months.

Foster Home: I just need a nice comfy place with plenty of places to lay down and lots of love! My foster parents would need to be comfortable with administering oral medications and must be able to bring me to my follow up appointments.

Dogs: I could possibly enjoy another pup would need to meet them before I go home.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
