ID: 41467797
Breed: Mixed Breed, Medium (up to 44 lbs fully grown) / Mix
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: 9 years 10 months
Size: Large
Location: Awaiting Foster
FOSTER TYPE: Healing and Comfort

FOSTER REASON: I have an abdominal mass that needs to be removed and a heart murmur. The vets would love for me to go to a foster home while I await my procedures!

ABOUT ME: I'm Sandy. I've been around the block a few times and I would LOVE a forever home. I'm a petite girl, only 33lbs! I would love a good place to curl up and hang out. My previous family reported that I was kid-friendly! They said I was gentle, calm, and cooperative. However, I picked on kitties in my previous home.

SPECIAL SKILLS: I know sit, stay, come, and down. I've been reported to be housetrained and ride well in the car!

FOSTER HOME REQUIREMENTS: I have no special requirements for my foster home.

FOSTER COMMITMENT: We aren't sure when the results will be in, so at least 2-4 weeks.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
