Luna
Name: Luna
ID: 41486825
Breed: Domestic Shorthair / Mix
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: 4 years
Size: Medium
Location: Foster
About me: Luna is a beautiful solid black kitty. She is shy and timid and will require an understanding adopter who will give her time to warm up at her own pace. Luna would make a great companion cat for someone who doesn't mind letting do her own thing! She sleeps most of the daytime but likes to lay by the window sill and look outside. She is always looking for a comfortable and cozy hiding place.

Children: Luna will most likely not seek attention form children. She may do best in an adult only home.

Dogs: A calm pup who will give Luna space may be okay.

Foster Home: In her foster home she is slowly starting to trust and come out to be around the fosters teen daughter. Luna would do best in a quiet home without a lot of foot traffic.

Luna's Forever Home: Luna would like to have a home with a patient adopter. Will have a calm, quiet household with low foot traffic, where she can settle comfortably. They will understand it may take her a bit to warm up.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
