ABOUT ME: I was rescued by the SPCA of Texas when my buddies and I were found abandoned out in the woods. I had little to no human contact prior to being rescued, so it has taken the behavior team a long time to show me that life with humans is okay. I've been showing interest in new people even though I am scared and I'm constantly improving on my leashwalking. I love snacks and I hope my foster is ready to bribe me with lots of tasty treats!

MY HOME: A calm, quiet household with humans 15 and up. My home should have a securely fenced yard with at least 6-foot privacy fencing. I'll need to meet everyone in the home before I leave!

DOGS: Bring them to meet me!

SPECIAL NOTE: Eligible adopters get to take me on a test drive through trial adoption!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
