ABOUT ME: January is always in season and a great companion year-round! January is a petite girl, weighing only about 30 pounds who came to SPCA of Texas from a cruelty case. You may not notice at first, but January is a tripod and blind in one eye due to some old trauma. January had a rough start in life and is on the shy side. However, with time and care she has learned to trust and has really blossomed.

PERSONALITY: January enjoys supervised time hanging in the backyard, running zoomies and rolling in the grass. She's a quiet dog with an easy going personality once she gets comfortable with you. She loves her belly rubs, lounging on the couch and brief walks in the neighborhood.

SKILLS: January is house trained and rides well in the car. She's a well-mannered little lady!

IDEAL HOME: She would do best in a calm and quiet home with a securely fenced yard. She needs a family that will give her time to warm up to them and her new environment. She's working on leash walking, but prefers to stick close to home.

KIDS: January will need a home with teens and adults only. She got along great with the teenager in her foster home, who was very gentle and patient with her. Please bring all members of the household to meet January!

DOGS: Calm, friendly dogs would be great companions for January. Please bring pups in the home to meet her to make sure it's a good match!
