ABOUT ME: I'm Dom- a shy young kitty looking for a home to call my own. I came to the SPCA of Texas through a hoarding situation in January of this year.

PERSONALITY: I'm can be quite timid, but my foster mom can tell that I just crave human interaction! It takes me a few tries to be brave, but once I manage to climb out of my hidey bed I really like cheek scratches! Once I get to know you, which admittedly might take a few weeks, I'll come seek attention and let you pick me up.

MY ADOPTER: Will be cat savvy! Since I am such a scaredy cat, I really need a human that can read my body language and understand when I am getting overwhelmed or over stimulated. They'll understand that I need some time and coaxing to warm up to them and be willing to let me take all the time I need to blossom! Once I got comfortable in my foster home, I followed my foster mama EVERYWHERE and would purr and purr whenever I was next to her.

MY DREAM HOME: My home will be a calm, quiet household with plenty of cozy hidey beds. I like to sit on high surfaces and watch the action from above. Humans in my home should be 12+ please!

CATS: Sure! I wouldn't mind a super relaxed, friendly cat to provide me companionship and teach me to be brave.

DOGS: Same as above - I live with a chill Great Dane and chill Pitbull and I accept them both since they don't try to bother or chase me. I'll even come sit next to them on the bed because hey, they're big and warm and I like the heat!

LIKES: Laser pointers, wand toys, and treats! I like scritches on my face, ears, back and tummy!

From my foster paw-rent:
"It has been very rewarding to earn his trust to the point that now he not only feels comfortable around me, but also gets excited when I come in the room....Once I earned his trust, he looks forward to every time he sees me and comes out without coaxing or giving him any attention."
