ABOUT ME: Handsome? Oh, why yes I am! Although, I'm more Fred Savage than Fred Astaire. I'm a bit clumsy and socially awkward, but that's just part of my charm. I originally came to the SPCA of Texas from a hoarding situation with a whole bunch of my friends. I can hang with other dogs just fine, but new humans and situations can be kind of scary. I'm a low-key dog who just wants a quiet home where I can chill and sleep in my crate and a backyard where I can be on squirrel patrol. I give little nose boops to let you know when I'm ready for some petting and love.

MY HOME: I will need a home with a securely fenced in yard. I can walk on leash, but it's a scary world out there! I prefer to stick close to what's familiar. A woman in the home would also be great but not required. Everyone in the home will be required to meet me before I go home.

KIDS: No, thank you! I'm looking for a home with Adults Only!

DOGS: If they're cool, I'm cool. I've spent my whole life surrounded by other dogs, so I'm kind of indifferent. If your dog is as laid back as me, bring them to meet me so we can be sure that we're compatible. I've lived with other dogs in foster homes and we got along well.

SPECIAL NOTE: Eligible adopters get to take me on a test drive through a trial adoption! The SPCA of Texas will provide all behavior and medical support while I adjust to my new home.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
