ABOUT ME: Hi my name is White Tail, and I'm a sweet pup who came from a hoarding case in 2020. I was pretty fearful when I came in, but I've started to build my confidence and made some friends along the way! I'm ready to find my fur-ever home now, hopefully a place with lots of comfy spots to hang around in. Once I open up to you, you'll start to see my silly side!

DREAM HOME: I'd love a calm, quiet place with few visitors. I'll need a home with a securely fenced in yard as I'm still a little timid going to new places.

DOGS: That would be great! I'd absolutely love a furry sibling. However, it's not required at this time.

KIDS: Nah, not for me. I prefer to hang out with adults!

NOTE: I am available by appointment only! Please complete an application if you'd like to meet me.

SPECIAL NOTE: Eligible adopters get to take me on a test run through a trial adoption!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
