About Me: I came to the SPCA of Texas through a cruelty case along with my 10 babies. They're all grown up now so it's my turn to be the baby. I'm a timid girl who can be quite shy around new people, but I warm up quickly and then love to have all their attention! Once you're my person I will be by your side forever.

Personality: My fosters say that I am a gentle and well-behaved dog. Once comfortable, I love to run and play in a backyard and catch a ball. I'm mostly an indoor girl though and enjoy spending most of my day relaxing on a big comfy armchair. I also like tossing my stuffed toys in the air to play with them. I love getting pets and snuggling with my humans. I need them to reassure me when I get scared. My foster mom says I particularly love to jump in water when I see it.

My Dream Home: I'll need a house with a securely fenced in yard. I'm not big on meeting strangers, so I'd like my family to have a low-traffic household with adults only. I'm particularly wary of men so my home should have at least 1 female to help me build more confidence.

My Ideal Humans: They'll be a patient family who understands that I'm nervous in new situations and may take some time to adjust to a new environment and routine. They will also take me on leash walks daily in low stress areas.

Dogs/Cats: Yes please! Having another calm, friendly, confident dog in the home will help me be more confident as well! I lived with a cat in a previous foster home and we lived peacefully together.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
