ABOUT ME: I came to the SPCA of Texas back in February as part of a cruelty case involving a lot of other dogs. I'm still figuring out how to be a dog in the real world and will need some nice humans to be patient with me while I adjust. Snacks and a friendly canine companion will help me learn to trust you and get comfortable in a home.

PERSONALITY: Beautiful? Moi? I'll admit, most humans seem pretty taken with my gorgeous coat! I've been told that I have the coolest coloring and markings around. I'm still shy around humans, but I do love other dogs! Playing with other dogs is my favorite thing to do! You may not be canine, but throw in a few tasty treats in there and I'll come around eventually.

HOUSING: I'd do best in a home with a securely fenced-in yard, but I'm willing to try a low-traffic apartment in a quiet area.

DOGS: I would do best in a home with a confident, friendly dog to show me the ropes.

KIDS: 10+ please. I would love to meet them!

SPECIAL NOTE: Eligible adopters get to take me on a test drive through a trial adoption!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
