ABOUT ME: Hello everyone! My name is Jimmy! I came to the SPCA when my previous owner could no longer care for me. Now I'm in the market for a new home! My foster mom says I can be shy at first, but once I get to know people I'm very silly.

DREAM HOME: I would love a calm, quiet home where I can take my time settling in. I'm really not a fan of having my leash put on, so I will need a home with a securely fenced yard.

KIDS: Any kids in the home will need to be 12 years old and up! I need to meet all members of the household before I go home.

DOGS: Sure! I've lived with a few other dogs. I do best with calm dogs who will give me my space.

Foster Testimonial: "Jimmy is SUCH a clown! He loves his squeaky toys, and it's so entertaining to watch him play."

If you would like to take me home, please have your people talk to my people. Send in an application!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
