ABOUT ME: Hi! I'm Sweet Pea, an adult Domestic Shorthair Grey tabby. In September 2020, I was found by a good Samaritan who took me to a vet because I was suffering from a gunshot wound. Later I was transferred to DAS and then the Rescue Center. My wound has healed and now, and I'm ready for my fur-ever home! I'm a bit timid at first, but once I warm up to you you'll see my sweet, snuggly side!

FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "I love how cuddly she is. She won't let you walk without petting against your legs, and she likes making a lot of biscuits."

CATS: Another confident cat is required in my home. I'm besties with my furry foster sibling!

KIDS: No thanks. I prefer hanging out with adults!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
