ABOUT ME: I am a sweet old lady who is very interested in finding a home to feed me lots of treats! I know how to get what I want, and will put my head in your lap and kindly ask for a biscuit or two. I would love a nice comfy bed to relax in while watching your favorite show with you!

DREAM HOME: Due to her medical condition, she needs a home without children 5 and under. She will need to meet any children 5-12 to find out if they are the right fit for her! Though she does not have any exercise restraints, her ideal home would be on the ground floor, or have an elevator to use instead of stairs. She is able to do as much activity as she would like to, but usually prefers short walks. She is also on a few different oral medications, so her foster parent would need to be comfortable giving daily medication.

FSOTER REASON: Minkers is a geriatric lady with severe hip dysplasia, osteoarthritis, and skin masses. Without appropriate medications, she would have very limited mobility. She needs a family who can monitor her for mobility issues such as difficulty getting up from lying down, or any difficulty walking. Her Doctors may consider alternative therapies for her in the future such as laser therapy, acupuncture, and underwater treadmill therapy .

FOSTER LENGTH: I am a Fospice pup- that means you get to love me for the rest of my life and the SPCA of Texas will provide my care!

FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "On the second day of our few days together, she wanted to be where the people were! She LOVES treats and that will get her moving! She was also interested in what I was eating for lunch and sat!"
