Elisa is an older gal, but she still has plenty of pep in her step! She loves to run and play around the pasture. She has a quirky personality and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She's a social butterfly and gets along well with any horse she shares a field with. Because of her age, she has lost several teeth and has to be on a mash diet. Just started training and is most likely broke, but we are still evaluating with our trainer.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
