ABOUT ME: My name is Izzy, and I am the sweetest little lady you've ever meet! I initially came to the SPCA of Texas from the disaster response to the hurricane in Louisiana last year. I'm a lazy, slow-moving lady who loves spending her time getting snuggles from her human friends! I'd make a great buddy for someone who wants a pal to hang out in the backyard with them- I'd be happy to watch you garden or grill.

PERSONALITY: I'm a laidback woman- my friends say I remind them of a manatee, whatever that is! I'm the perfect pup for someone who wants a loving companion but isn't super active.

LIKES: Playing with toys! I love tossing them around and chasing them, it's so fun! I also love spending time in your lap.

MY HOME: I'm searching for a home with a securely fenced yard!

DOGS: No thank you, I'm the baby.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
