About Me: I came to the SPCA of Texas in October throught the SPCA of Texas disaster relief efforts. While my life prior to being rescued is a mystery, I found a loving foster and have been thriving since then. I am currently looking for another foster home while i recover from heartworm treatment.

Foster Reason: During my Heartworm treatment I developed Heartworm Pneumonitis. With this I have had a bad cough. I am needing a foster home to see if my cough gets better while being in a home setting. I am still on exercise restriction, this mean leash walks only and no running around. Basically being a couch potato.

Foster Length: A month Minimum, but ideally until I am adopted.

Foster Home: While I am not to picky, I would love a home with a securely fence yard. But a first level apartment would be nice as well.

Dogs: Sure! I've liked all the pups I've met out on walks.

Kids: I think I'd do great with older teens, but I'm willing to meet kids over the age of 5.

Special Note: While I am not yet available for adoption, I am available for foster-to-adopt.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
