ABOUT ME: Hey there, I'm Colt! I only have three legs, but the best dogs are three-legged dogs anyway (the staff assures me this is indeed a fact). You'd think that missing a limb would slow me down, but the truth is I'm just a bouncy and playful as any other pup! I love humans and I am very social and approachable.
DOGS: I haven't had my official dog test yet, but the staff saw me do the funniest thing the other day! I saw another pup walking past when I was in the play yard, and I grabbed my chew toy and ran up to the fence. I passed my toy through the fence to the other pup! We had fun pushing the toy back and forth through the fence together. Then I went and got another toy to share with him - I was so excited to show my new friend all my toys. So, I'd love to meet any pups in the house and see if they also like sharing toys!
KIDS: I was originally found as a stray in Ellis County, and since I'm still young I'm still working on puppy manners. I'd love a home with kids 12 & up who can help teach me basic skills so I can be the best pup I can be!
HOUSING: Any type of home is fine with me as long as there aren't TOO many stairs (I'm totally fine with them now but down the road I may need an elevator)
