Kitten
Name: Kitten
ID: 46065454
Breed: Domestic Shorthair / Mix
Gender: Neutered Male
Age: 14 years 8 months
Size: Small
Location: Awaiting Foster
Foster Type: Healing and comfort.

Foster Reason: I am a diabetic and I currently have an URI (upper respiratory infection). I take daily medications that have to be given at specific times daily.

About Me: My name is Kitten. The name fits me well, as I am a spunky guy with a big personality. I was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of my own.

Medical Schedule: I will need to come back in a week for a recheck, and more than likely come back frequently.

Foster Commitment: I am looking for a foster that can bring me back to the shelter for routine check ups. It is not known how long I will need a foster. So a minimum of 3 months is ideal.

Foster Home Requirements: I need a home where I can be fed and given my insulin at specific times daily. I also need a home where I can be fed my specific diet only. Other than that I am not to picky.

Special Note: While I am not yet eligible for adoption, I am eligible for foster-to-adopt!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
