ABOUT ME: The name is Ginger just like the root. Speaking of roots, can I lay some down at your place? I'm a sweet girl who found herself at the shelter when I was abandoned in early January. This place can be a little hectic and I haven't been able to open up fully. If you are patient, loving, and willing to teach me what the spoiled life is like, then we will get along great!

DREAM HOME: I'm looking for a home with a securely fenced in yard! I'm still a little nervous around new people and places so a place of my own makes me more comfortable.

DOGS: I would love another dog pal to hangout with. It's actually required!

KIDS: No little ones for me. 15+ only!

SPECIAL NOTE: You get to take me on a test drive through a trial adoption.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
