ABOUT ME: Hi my name is Buck and my story is a little buck wild! I was rescued from a bad situation were I was starving and had injured the tip of my tail. My weight is up thankfully but it's very stressful for me here. Now I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! Fill out an application today to meet my snuggly wrinkly face - I'd love to be your best bud!

FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "Buck is a happy, fun guy! Just like a puppy, everything in the world is so interesting to him. One of my favorite qualities is his interest to be with you and explore alongside you."

DREAM HOME: I would love a home with a securely fenced in yard but an apartment could work if I get lots of exercise!

KIDS: I would like to meet any kids under 10 please but I may do better with older kids and adults.

SPECIAL NOTE: Adopters get to take me through a test drive with a trial adoption to ensure we're a paw-fect match!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
