No Small Kids
Name: Helima
ID: 46532352
Breed: Terrier / Mix
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: 2 years 2 months
Size: Medium
Location: Dallas
ABOUT ME: I'm super cute with my small/medium size and wire-hair that makes a little mohawk! I was found as a stray with my puppies and was so scared at first, but I've come a long way in learning to trust people. I do enjoy being around other dogs as long as they aren't overwhelming and super active. I helped other shy dogs feel welcome at the SPCA with my sweet and gentle personality.

FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "She is pretty low maintenance, she likes to go outside for walks, she likes belly rubs and is sweet
natured. She has not destroyed anything, and doesn't bark or whine. She is content staying in her half crate most of the day. She likes to chew on chew sticks."

FUTURE HOME: I need my own space so either a securely fenced in yard or a low stress/traffic apartment on the first floor.

KIDS: No kids under 15 please. I need to meet everyone in the home as well.

DOGS: I need to have another confident and calm pup in the home that I can play with and learn how to be a house dog from!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
