Name: Timateo
ID: 46632582
Breed: Domestic Shorthair / Mix
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: 10 years 1 month
Size: Small
Location: Awaiting Foster
About Me: Hi! My name is Timateo and I would love to come be your roommate! I am a timid girl who is learning how to trust humans, so I would need a foster who is willing to wait for me to get comfortable with them. Once that happens, I'm a lovebug! I will also willingly take treat from you as long as you don't get too close!

Foster Reason: I'm currently being treated for an ear infection and recovering from a dental. I do have a condition called Gingivostomatitis that causes my gums and the tissues in my mouth to swell and become painful. I am doing well however, would love to be out of the shelter during my healing period.

Foster Length: 4-6 weeks or until I am adopted

Foster Home: My ideal foster home would be a place with lots of love and plenty of comfy places for me to relax. My foster parent(s) would need to be able to bring me back to the shelter for recheck exams and appointments as need. They should also be comfortable with administering oral medications, as I may need them while in foster.

Kids: Okay, however a meet and greet is required for any children under the age of 12 years

Special Note: While I am not yet available for adoption, I am available for foster-to-adopt.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
