Chuky
Name: Chuky
ID: 46717406
Breed: Domestic Shorthair / Mix
Gender: Neutered Male
Age: 10 years 3 months
Size: Small
Location: Awaiting Foster
ABOUT ME: I'm Chuky! I'm a big boy that LOVES pets and will carry on a conversation with you!

FOSTER REASON - Behavior: I'll need to come back for a recheck and would love to spend it in a home to see how I do!

FOSTER REASON - Medical: I have Chronic Kidney Disease, this will require me needing to have bloodwork done once a month to see how my kidney's are functioning. I will also be on a special diet, I will need to be fed this diet only as it will help with my kidney function. Because of my kidney disease, I need a home where my appetite can be monitored. As well as any increased thirst or urination.

FOSTER DURATION: I am a fospice kitty, so you get to love me for the rest of my life while the SPCA of Texas pays for my medical care. Not looking for long term? Foster me until I find my forever fospice home.

Foster Home: I am not to picky, I just need a home where I can be monitored for changes in my behavior or medical needs.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
