ABOUT ME: Well hey there- I'm Yuba! I'm a cute 54 lbs pointer mix looking for love. I've been described as a goofy, smart, and affectionate dog who loves to sit in laps.

LIKES: Playing! I love all sorts of playing- fetch, chase, running, and more! If it's fun, I want to do it. Since I'm so smart, I like having different activities to focus my attention on. If we're not playing, I also like learning new skills as well!

SPECIAL SKILLS: I am crate trained and go to my crate when you say, "Kennel up!" I also know sit, stay, and fetch. My previous family reported that I am housetrained as well.

KIDS: I'm too much fun for those little ones- I'm on the lookout for a home with kids 10+. Bring the whole family to meet me!

DOGS/CATS: My home shouldn't have any kitties or small dogs- instead, I'd prefer a home with doggos my size that can play with me.

HOME: Since I am so active and need lots of exercise, I'm searching for a home with a securely fenced in yard where I can play and run as much as I'd like. An apartment with an active owner could work too! Just no dog parks for me please.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
