About Me: Hi there, I'm Chance- a handsome fella weighing about 64 lbs. I look like a hound mix but staff aren't too sure. They do know I'm a sweet, shy guy looking for a family to call my own! Once I feel comfortable I will run around the yard playing with toys. I can also be a bit of a cuddle bug and love to be around people that I am familiar with. I've been known to sit in a lap or two, despite my size!

My Dream Home: I'll need a calm, quiet home with humans 15+ while I continue to work on my confidence. Please bring the whole fam to meet me, including any potential doggy siblings.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future.
