Breed: Terrier, Pit Bull / Mix
Gender: Neutered Male
Age: 1 year 11 months
Size: Large
Location: Dallas
ABOUT ME: I'm Draco - a big ole' sweet and goofy lovebug! I came to the SPCA of Texas in rough shape with a severe ear infection and needed my eye removed due to injury and infection, but the team here fixed me up and now I'm ready for my forever home! I know "sit" and "paw" and am crate trained. I've done very well around children, including a 9 month old baby! I have a lot of energy and zest for life. I'm super friendly and love people and other dogs. Please bring the whole family to meet me!

HOME NEEDS: I'll need a home with a fenced in yard - I can't wait to spend time outside in the yard with my family playing and getting lots of exercise!

FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "Draco has the best personality - he is really sweet and just wants all the pets and love. He LOVES his Kong with peanut butter and is very food driven."

DOGS: That could be fun! Please bring any furry friends to meet me - I may do better with dogs close to my size and energy level. I can play a little too rough for some pups, although I can ignore the little ones if they don't want to play.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future.
