ABOUT ME: Yipes! What was that? I am a bit of a chicken and I'm dreaming of a calm and quiet home where I can receive lots of cuddles and reassurance. Once I'm familiar with my environment, I'm more confident, but please be patient and give me time to adjust! I've been made an honorary co-worker at the SPCA and spent time with staff in their offices. I was an ultra good boy - quiet and easy going. I wanted lots of hugs and pets and would nuzzle to ask for more, but when they had to get back to work, I would give them space and relax on my own or take a nap. However, the more lap time and snugs I can get, the better!

KIDS: I'm looking for a 5+ household, but due to my fearful nature I'd be best in a home with older teens.

DOGS: I've met some other pups at the SPCA of Texas and was very gentle and appropriate. I greeted nicely, shared space, and understood when they told me they didn't want to play. I'm always curious about the other pups I see, so I think a doggy sibling could be pretty neat!

HOME: While I'd do best in a house with a privately fenced yard, I'm willing to try a low traffic apartment on the first floor. Bring everyone in the household to meet me!

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
