Location: Foster
ABOUT ME: Hi I'm Honey! I was rescued from hoarding and now I am ready to find my forever home. I'm a shy little girl looking for a loving home where I can blossom! Once I'm comfortable, I show my puppy-ish side! I love toys, treats, attention, and lounging on the couch. It might take me some time to adjust, but I definitely have a spunky side.

KIDS: Please bring everyone to meet me.

DOGS: Being around other dogs gives me confidence, but I'm still learning how to share attention and belongings. Your pups should be understanding and listen to my signals while I get to know them better.

HOUSING: I'm not the best at leash walking yet, because it makes me nervous. I'd do best in a house with a yard, but I'm willing to try a low-traffic apartment in a quiet area.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
