Name: Noreen
ID: 48376980
Breed: Retriever, Labrador / Mix
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: 9 years 2 months
Size: Medium
Location: Awaiting Foster
FOSTER TYPE: Healing and Comfort

FOSTER REASON: I'm heartworm positive and need a foster home while I undergo treatment.

ABOUT ME: I came to the SPCA of Texas as a stray, so I am a woman of mystery. I'm a senior girl searching for a soft place to land while I continue my road to recovery. Recently, I went to a short term foster and they reported that I seemed housetrained and knew 'sit' and 'come'.

MEDICAL SCHEDULE: My treatments are scheduled for 10/21, 11/18, and 11/19.

FOSTER COMMITMENT: Until my treatment is completed, but ideally until I am adopted!

FOSTER HOME REQUIREMENTS: I'm searching for a home where I can be the only dog, please. I like to be the star of the show! No kitties either, please.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
