IDEAL HOME: Kalani needs a calm and quiet environment in a home with a securely fenced yard. She also has a history of ingesting inappropriate items and so needs a "puppy proofed" space. Kalani needs to be carefully monitored to prevent this behavior and crated when supervision isn't possible. Everyone in the household is required to meet Kalani before she can go home.
KIDS: Teens 15 years and up or Adult Only home please!
DOGS: Kalani LOVES playing with other dogs and having a friendly, confident dog in the home to help her adjust is a requirement.
SPECIAL NOTE: Adopters get to take Kalani on a trial run before making it official! SPCA of Texas will provide all medical and behavior support during a trial adoption period to help Kalani succeed in her new home.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.Adoption Fees
