ABOUT ME: Hi, I'm Tater! Aren't my spots and little floppy ears the cutest? I'm a young pup full of personality who loves toys and treats. I have lots of energy to run and play, but also have a sensitive side. Being in a shelter is really hard for me and I can't wait to find a nice, quiet home where I can relax. My perfect people will be patient and kind and do lots of activities and training with me to build our bond and help teach me what they want me to do.

HOME NEEDS: I'm required to go into a home with a securely fenced yard! I need to be able to run and get my zoomies out.

DOGS: No dogs for me! They make me uncomfortable. I'm the only pup you will need.

KIDS: I will require an adults only home! No kiddos for me.

SPECIAL NOTE: Adopters get to take me on a "test drive" with a trial adoption. The SPCA of Texas will provide all behavior and medical support to help ensure a successful transition into a new home.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
