Breed: Shepherd / Mix
Gender: Neutered Male
Age: 5 years 7 months
Size: Medium
Location: Foster
ABOUT ME: The Addams Family? I want to be part of YOUR family! Somewhat like my namesake, I'm happy being in the background and playing a support role to your life. I'm a quiet, easy-going guy who just wants to chill and hang around the house with you. My needs are simple and I don't ask for much, just a calm environment and a loving family who will be patient with me and help me come out of my shell.

FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "Uncle Fester is one of the calmest, most gentle dogs I have ever met. He truly is a kind soul and is the perfect match for a family who needs a calm soul in the house. I imagine Uncle Fester's forever family will shower him with all the love he deserves for being such a kind and gentle dog. I imagine Uncle Fester's family are homebodies who love to spend their time with him and watch movies and cook."

HOME REQUIREMENTS: I'm looking for a home that has a securely fenced in yard for me to explore and do my business in. Being on a leash makes me tense up and freeze, so I need my own space for potty breaks and time outside.

KIDS: I will require a home with teens 15 years and up or Adults Only.

DOGS: Dogs are pretty cool, but I need to meet yours before taking me home! I'm a laid back guy and we need to make sure we're a good match.

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
