Name: Tanner
ID: 45226399
Breed: American Blue Heeler / Mix
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: 7 years 9 months
Size: Medium
Location: Dallas
ABOUT ME: The name is Tanner, but my foster dad's elementary class named me Pebbles! I came to the SPCA of Texas through a hoarding case in August. I'm a small little thing- I only weigh 28lbs! I am also deaf, so I may startle easily if I can't see something coming.

SPECIAL SKILLS: My owner will have to learn to train me using visual cues instead of audible ones - but don't fret, I seem to pick things up pretty quickly! My foster parent says I know sit and am both crate and leash trained.

HOUSING: I will require a home with a private securely fenced in yard

DOGS: No Thank you! I had to share my space with other dogs for so long and I am over it. I want to be the star of the show!

KIDS: No thank you. I am looking for a home that is adults only

The SPCA of Texas completes rigorous medical and behavioral testing on every animal in our care. The organization fully discloses all known medical and/or behavioral conditions, including any incidents of biting or violent behavior toward a human, to all adopters and fosters. Despite the rigorous testing our veterinary and behavioral professionals conduct throughout every animal’s stay in our facilities, other new and/or unknown medical and/or behavioral conditions may manifest in any animal at any time. By adopting or fostering an animal from the SPCA of Texas, adopters and fosters acknowledge at the time of adoption or fostering that they may receive an animal with an undetected medical and/or behavioral condition and/or that a new medical and/or behavioral condition may appear at any time in the future. Any pet adopted from the SPCA of Texas can be returned to us at any time for any reason at no cost.
